These rules are in addition to the building guidelines of weapons, and must be followed to qualify for the Tournaments. Remember, even in a Tournament, the idea is to have fun. So try not to take yourself to seriously.

  • All persons entering tournament must  abide by the rules setforth.
  • All persons entering tournament agree to fight in good manor. This means fight fair, and abide by the refferees decisions.

Rules

  1. All weapons will be checked prior to use in tournament. All weapons must be classified as layed out in the Weapons Guidelines. There will be several classes of weapons, including single padded blades, short swords, long swords, two-handed weapons, two weapons, and shield class.
  2. No "armor" will be allowed. A hit to body or limb will be counted.
  3. Head shots are not illegal, but should be used wisely. If you are caught repeatedly aiming for head or groin, you may be disqualified.
  4. If you lose a limb, it is not to be used. If you use it after it is hit, you may be disqualified.
  5. It is immediate disqulification to hit an opponent with anything other than the designated weapon. This includes sticks, hands, and feet.
  6. Tournament is double elimination. Just because you lose one fight does not mean you are out. You must lose twice before being eliminated.
  7. Everyone will be taking turns being a refferee. Anyone caught making unfair calls will be disqualified from their next fight.
  8. There is to be no interference in the fight. Cheering on your favorite is allowed, but any caught interfering will be disqualified from their next fight.

 

Regulations
 
  1. Anyone may join the tournament. There is no cost, but donations will be accepted.
  2. Anyone may bring items to be sold or traded at the tournament. This includes weapons and boffer equipment. Please email terry_boyer@yahoo.com if you wish to sell items during tournament.
  3. There will be several workshops, including weapons construction, and fighting techniques. Please email terry_boyer@yahoo.com if you wish to teach any workshops.
  4. Since this will be taking place in public, please be careful of language. Cursing loudly, and harassing random pedestrians will result in being asked to leave.
  5. The is the most important regulation.   HAVE FUN
